TAYLORVILLE — The busiest corner in Taylorville will become the new home of CVS/Pharmacy. After a year of negotiations an agreement was finally reached between the pharmacy conglomerate CVS, Larry Barry and Robert Goeckner. Barry confirmed sale of the property this morning. CVS Director of Public Relations Mike DeAngelis also confirmed the transaction in a statement this morning. “Yes we closed on the property this week. Construction of a 13,225 sq. ft. CVS/pharmacy is scheduled to begin in late summer with a planned store opening in the first quarter of 2013,” DeAngelis said. Christine Lockwood/Breeze-Courier
TAYLORVILLE — Thursday afternoon CVS closed a deal with Larry Barry and Robert Goeckner to purchase the property on the northwest corner of Webster and Spresser Streets.
