MHS students reflect on D.C. Trip
Laying of the WreathWASHINGTON, D.C. — In their reflections, several students said the Laying of the Wreath Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery on Sunday was one of their favorite parts of the trip. Representatives from the Morrisonville American Legion Post presented the wreath during the ceremony that morning. Pictured in the back row, John Clarke and Jerry Rutan of the Morrisonville American Legion Post salute as Morrisonville High School senior Felicia Stanfill (left), Army National Guard, and Morrisonville native Lt. Colonel Mike Merritt (right) present the wreath at the tomb. (Laura Wolfe/Breeze-Courier)
