Life after hearing, “you have cancer” from a doctor is difficult for anyone. Those three little words cast a shadow over not only the patient, but their entire family as well. It may be easy to feel isolated and alone in the world. However, every person who receives this terrible diagnosis must remember: You are not alone. You are a survivor, and there is an entire battalion of people ready to help you face this fight head on.
|TAYLORVILLE — Organizers of the Christian County Relay for Life are preparing for this year’s event which will be held at the Taylorville High School on June 15. The survivors will kick off the event with the first walk around the track, cheered on by the participants the whole way. Many will be wearing purple, the official color of Relay for Life.|
