Recently, I read in the Breeze-Courier that the City of Taylorville was trying to see if they could fit a solar farm into a TIF district (Tax Increment Financing). Referencing remarks made at the recent Audit/Finance meeting on Thursday, March 15th, it is important to understand that many of the members currently on the Christian County Board were elected and began their service in December 2016.
