Wilma J. Ragsdale, 99, of Hillsboro, IL passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:58 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing & Rehab Center, Taylor Springs, IL.

She was born January 23, 1913 at Atwater, IL, the daughter of Henry Maxwell and Cora Mae (Evans) Davidson. She married Carl H. Ragsdale on June 23, 1979 at Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro; he preceded her on February 25, 1999. She was a homemaker who lived in Hillsboro since 1967. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Hillsboro, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, children, Donald in infancy, William Light, and Barbara Mink, grandchild, Deanna Jo Dooley, two brothers, Merril Davidson and Ralph Davidson and one sister, Annyce McCuen.

Survivors include two children, Joseph Light of Hillsboro, IL and Nancy (husband Larry) Dooley of Stonington, IL; twelve grandchildren, Bill Light of Pana, IL, Tom (wife Julie) Light of Hillsboro, IL, Debra (husband Mark) Williams and Ava (husband Dave) Laurent both of Irving, IL, Sara Jo Light and Tara Light-Scanlan both of Centralia, IL, Marla Mink-Johnson of Mt. Zion, IL, Tim (wife Suzanne) Mink of Decatur, IL, Rodney (wife Trish) Dooley of Atoka, TN, Monica (husband John) Wamsley of Taylorville, IL, Jason (wife Rhea) Dooley of Stonington, IL, and Jeremy (wife Amber) Dooley of Mt. Auburn, IL; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Walter Davidson of Hillsboro, IL and Velma Roper of Coffeen, IL.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Hillsboro, IL; Funeral service will be Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Hillsboro, IL; Rev. Jeff Hemken, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Hillsboro will officiate. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery, Stonington, IL.
