Mary Evelyn Estabrook, 75, of Morrisonville passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 11:48 p.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born on May 28, 1937 at Morrisonville, the daughter of Ralph and Velma (Lyles) Hancock. She married Robert D. Estabrook on October 9, 1955 at the Palmer Christian Church; he preceded her in death. Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of Morrisonville United Methodist Church, past president of Leslie Reddick American Legion Auxiliary, past matron and 50 year member of Rosamond Order of the Eastern Star, past district deputy of Rebekahs, member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Co-founder of the Morrisonville Angel Tree. She was also one of the founding members of the Morrisonville Community Ambulance. Survivors include: Daughter, Robyn (husband, Mark) Hylton of Morrisonville, IL; sons, Richard (wife, Lorrie) Estabrook of Scottsdale, AZ and Ronald (wife, Angie) Estabrook of Springfield, IL; grandchildren, Caleb, Robert and Benjamin Hylton, Stephanie, Jennifer, Ryne (Morgan), Eric and Adam Estabrook; great-grandchildren, Swae Miller Estabrook, Garrett and Mona Estabrook; brother, Kenneth (wife, Linda) Hancock of Nashville, TN; uncle, Wayne Lyles of Nevada; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant brother, Ralph Hancock Jr. and a sister, Phyllis Montgomery. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Morrisonville with Rev. Dayle Badman officiating. Burial will follow at Morrisonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church, Morrisonville. A meal will be served at United Methodist Church following the cemetery committal service. Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
