43 year old, John E. Beyers of Pana, Illinois died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 12 at 6:00 p.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana, Illinois with Fr. Rodney A Schwartz, officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 until service, Wednesday, April 12 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana, Illinois. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana Township Christian Co

John E. Beyers was born Sunday, August 26 1973, in Taylorville, Illinois the son of Lewis A. and Patricia A. (maiden name Nolan) Beyers. He grew up north of Pana on the family farm. He attended Sacred Heart School and was a graduate of Pana High School Class of 1991. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. John really enjoyed being a heavy equipment operator and was a proud member of Operating Engineers Local 965 Springfield, Illinois. For the past several years, he traveled to various states working on the pipeline projects. He also loved helping out on the family farm, spending time with his family and friends, four-wheeling, and working on trucks.              

He is survived by two daughters: Taylor R. Beyers, of St. Louis, Mo. and Grace E. Beyers of Springfield, Ill, one son: Ethan J. Thompson of Herrick, Ill., four sisters: Lori Magnussen (Mark) of Oconee, Ill.,  Elizabeth Magnussen (Jeffery) of Hampshire, Ill., Carol Sexauer, of St. Louis, Mo. and Ellen Beyers, of Taylorville, Ill., one brother, Joseph L. Beyers of Pana, Ill., aunts: Kathleen McGovern, of Wheaton, Ill., Mary Marrs (Sheldon), of Lebanon, Ind., Marjorie Beyers, of Barrington, Ill., and  Mary Nolan, of Taylorville, Ill.; uncles: Kirk Beyers (Joan), of Decatur, Ill., and Larry Nolan (Janet) of Taylorville, Ill.; nieces and nephews: Jack, Claudia, and Sam Magnussen, Tommy, Olivia, Lucy, and Sophia Magnussen, Madalyn, Cade, and Trent Sexauer, Breanna and Robert Grant and Gabrielle Beyers; great-nephews Izayah Magnussen and Dahotaka Grant and great niece Adrian Grant. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, aunt Mary Nolan and uncles Don Nolan and Joe McGovern. Condolences  may be made at
