She is survived by two sons: Robert (Kelly) Lael of Edinburg and Gary Lael of Hernando, Fla.; three daughters: Mary (Terry) Fairclough of Springfield, Marsha (Rick) Neuber of Surprise, Ariz. and Pamela (Steve) Eairheart of Lawton, Okla.; ten grandchildren: Matthew Lael, Timothy Lael, Jessica Lael, Nicole Lael, Alyshia Rightnowar, Staci Britz, Heather Sisson, Sean Fairclough, Jasen Eairheart and Melissa Beauchamp; eleven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jack (Sheryl) Parks of Keller, Texas. Parks-Noppe; and a daughter-in-law, Debra McKenzie Lael.
Mary was a lifelong Cubs fan and enjoyed watching multiple baseball games every day during the season, not just her Cubs. She worked as a nurses aide at several Springfield area nursing homes for over 40 years. Her passion was taking care of her people at those homes, they were her extended family. She also cared deeply about her many friends and the staff at Montvale Independent Living Center. Montvale was her home for over six years until shortly before her passing. The family would like to sincerely thank The Great Lakes Hospice Team, the staff at Centennial Pointe and one of their special residents, Barbara, who was mom's guardian angel while she was there.
Private family services will be held with burial at Beardstown City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.sagerfuneralhome.com.
