Yucaneer's grab completes Tornado sweep

Yucaneer made the tag to complete the double play and the Lady Tornadoes escaped game two with a 2-1 victory, completing the Apollo doubleheader sweep for the day.

 The Taylorville Lady Tornadoes dropped their first two Apollo games of the season, at the hands of the Mt. Zion Braves on Saturday.

Taylorville lost game one 5-2 and the second game 10-0.

Buschon blasts Pawnee

Bo Buschon was a beast on Friday night as he led the Taylorville Tornadoes to a dominant 12-0 win over Pawnee.

Buschon pitched all seven innings and gave up just two hits and three walks while striking out four for his third win of the season.
