Pana softball celebrates seniors

Panthers double up Hawks to advance

The Pana Panthers made sure they lived to play another day.

Brock DeWerff got Pana to a good start on the mound, giving up one hit and four walks in three innings of work and Pana beat Meridian 18-9.

The bad news is Pana committed five errors and gave up two runs on Tuesday night.

The good news is that Pana won by ten runs and Brock DeWerff gave up just one hit in the win over Carlinville.

Despite out-hitting Carlinville 8-2, the Pana Lady Panthers lost 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Adrianna Suter took the tough loss, giving up just two hits and two runs while walking just one and striking out three.
