Receivers impressive for Pana at Orange & Blue
PANA — Pure jubilation: The thought of starting another high school football season is certainly inspiring, but sheer bliss just abounds from these young Pana Panther fans as they run after the team following Pana’s first tunnel walk of the season.

PANA — Going into the season, the receiving corps for the Pana Panthers was perhaps an unknown, a question mark as the group returned only one starter from a year ago in Daniel Duduit. Friday night’s Orange and Blue game was only a scrimmage, but Pana may have answered that particular question in a big way.

Lady Panthers to build on success of last season
PANA — To say that Panther volleyball has been successful the past few seasons would be a huge understatement: in the 2015-2016 campaign, the Panthers put together a 25-13 record with a regional title which was brought to an end by Newton in the first game of Sectionals, the 2016-2017 campaign was even better, finishing with a 26-11 record, a conference championship, and a regional title, but was once again stopped short by a loss to Newton in the first game of the Sectional tournament.

PANA — It was a sunny day when the boys golfing Panthers of Pana took on Okaw Valley in a non conference match at Oak Terrace Golf Course August 15. Okaw Valley came away with the victory, shooting a 164 against Pana’s 215.

Panthers set record, celebrate Putt at State Finals
CHARLESTON, IL — “I was coming down that last 100 and all I could think about in my head was, that’s the last thing I’ll ever run in my career,” Pana senior Adam Miller said after anchoring the Pana Panther 4x400-meter relay team to a sixth-place finish at the IHSA 1A State Finals track meet on Saturday at O’Brien field on the campus of Easter Illinois University in Charleston.
