PANA — The 2016 Pana Panther football team, and this senior class in particular, started the season with a chip on their shoulder and a target on their back. It was a new era, a  new coach, and a new scheme; they were told it would be a transition year, that they wouldn’t be able to measure up to last year’s perfect Panthers, and that they were too small to bring home a second consecutive conference championship. They were told, but they didn’t listen, and now they will take their grit into the postseason.
