Wildcats drop foul-filled battle to Saints

SPRINGFIELD — “I thought that we beat them in the first half. We showed that we can play against one of the better teams in our Regional and I really hope that the boys can see that after their performance tonight. We have seven games in the next 10 days so a lot of guys are going to have to step up for us,” said Wildcat head coach Ryan Shick.

Shick sees a lot of potential for Edinburg Wildcats in 17-18
EDINBURG — Ryan Shick took over as head coach of the Wildcats two years ago after being the girls’ coach for many years and also coaching at the junior high and he saw it as a new opportunity. “Transitioning from girls basketball to boys basketball was really different for me last year, but I think that I adjusted well and the guys really rallied behind me and I behind them and we really gelled.”

Pulaski on Thursday in the Pawnee Regional Championship match. “These girls have come a long way since last year, and we broke our twenty-win record, so it was a very good season, and I’m very proud of these girls.”
