Dillon Amos and Cortez Luttrell each hit two home runs on Friday night for the Wildcats.

Auburn withstood the dinger derby and went on to win 15-9, getting the win for pitcher S. Bates.

Edinburg's Bowsher done after four seasons

The Edinburg High School board accepted the resignation “with regret” of high school boys basketball coach Doug Bowsher on Wednesday evening. 

Bowsher had served as the head coach for four years and an assistant for three years before that.

Freshman Lily Anderson only gave up two hits and one run as she picked up Pana’s first win of the season.

Pana beat the Wildcats 11-1 on Monday night, handing Samantha Sabo the loss for Edinburg.

The Auburn Trojans came to town and beat the Wildcats 25-4. McMillian got the win, while Edinburg’s Evans took the loss.

Trojans charge past Wildcats

Heading to the third inning, the Edinburg Lady Wildcats were hanging tough with Maroa-Forsyth.

The Lady Trojans slowly wore down Edinburg however and scored four runs in the third, three in the fourth and three more in the fifth for the 12-1 win.
