EDINBURG — The Edinburg Wildcats hosted their Wildcat Classic on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The Wildcats would finish second, as Porta would win the championship. EDINBURG — The Edinburg Wildcats appeared to be on the comeback after being down by five points in the first set, forcing extra points. Although they would end up losing the set 25-27 and ultimately the game with the second set finishing 17-25, the Wildcats never lost home as they kept pushing and fighting on the floor.

Not down for long though, they bounced back the next day against Auburn and won 15-0. On Saturday, August 13, the Bobcats took on Warrensburg-Latham and lost in extra innings, 11-4.
