Tomahawk volleyball falls to Lincolnwood
MORRISONVILLE — Despite it being Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, the Tomahawk girls volleyball team was still in action as they faced off against Lincolnwood. The seventh grade Tomahawks fell in straight sets 14-25 and 11-25 and the eighth grade fought for three sets, but fell 18-25, 25-22, and 22-25.

CHRISTIAN COUNTY — Both the Morrisonville Tomahawks and Pana Panthers were in action Monday night as the Tomahawks faced off against Mulberry Grove and the Panthers faced off against Litchfield.

MORRISONVILLE — Both the seventh and eighth grade Tomahawk volleyball teams were successful against John’s Hill Decatur school on Monday night. The seventh grade won 25-7 and 25-14 while the eighth grade won 25-17 and 25-22.

PALMYRA — The Morrisonville junior high Tomahawks were back in action Wednesday night against Palmyra Northwestern. The seventh grade team won 25-14 and 25-7, and the eighth grade team fell 21-25 and 18-25.

MORRISONVILLE — The junior high Tomahawks swept the Falcons on their home floor with the seventh grade winning 25-14 and 25-9 while the eighth grade won 25-22 and 25-18.

Lancers fall to Hillsboro, drop to 1-6 on season
HILLSBORO — The Lancers headed to Hillsboro to face off agaisnt the Hilltoppers in non-conference action after having to give the traveling trophy to Mt. Olive over the weekend. The Lancers would only trail by three at the half, but the Hilltoppers put their foot on the gas in the second half to get the 54-37 victory.
