Lancers fall to Hillsboro, drop to 1-6 on season
HILLSBORO — The Lancers headed to Hillsboro to face off agaisnt the Hilltoppers in non-conference action after having to give the traveling trophy to Mt. Olive over the weekend. The Lancers would only trail by three at the half, but the Hilltoppers put their foot on the gas in the second half to get the 54-37 victory.

NEW BERLIN — The Lincolnwood Lancers are off to a rough start this year, after going 1-3 in the New Berlin tournament after going 0-2 over the weekend; falling to both New Berlin and Lutheran on Friday and Saturday.

Lincolnwood Lancers looking to build on last year's success
RAYMOND — The Morrisonville co-op with Raymond is in its second season and saw success a year ago going 17-12 in the regular season and finishing with a 5-2 record in their conference, which was good enough to tie for first in the conference and to bring home the traveling trophy. “Last season was great for us both as a school and as a team. We were able to get our 900th win in school history but also won the first conference championship in a while.”

MORRISONVILLE — Morrisonville travelled to Cowden on Monday to defeat Cowden/Herrick/Beecher City in three sets 25-16, 26-24, and 25-19. The Mohawks would then face off against North Mac at home on Tuesday, where they would fall 14-25 and 23-25.

Morrisonville finishes seventh at hosted Tournament
MORRISONVILLE — In a three day tournament, Wednesday and Friday were pool play and Saturday bracket play, Morrisonville went 3-2 on their way to the seventh place finish. Bunker Hill finished in first, followed by Hillsboro, Roxana, Edinburg, Lincolnwood, Mt. Olive, Morrisonville, Greenview, Mulberry Grove, and finally Calvary.

MORRISONVILLE — The Mohawks played comeback kids Monday night against the Calvary Saints as they dropped the first set 16-25, but then rallied back to defeat the Saints 25-22 in set two and finished them off with a 25-18 victory in set three.
