Reed responds to get win for Raiders

Dillon Reed gave up three runs to start the game in the first inning.

Instead of hanging his head and compounding his mistakes or giving up, Reed came back and threw a great game to get the win for A&M.

Sophomore Olivia Jordan threw a one hitter as the Central A&M Lady Raiders beat Cerro Gordo 13-0 on Thursday night.

The Meridian Lady Hawks improved to 11-0 on the season with a close 7-5 win over Central A&M on Tuesday.

Lexee Smith took the loss for A&M giving up four earned runs and eight hits to the Hawks while striking out two and walking three.

The Central A&M Raiders went on the road Saturday for a doubleheader against Eisenhower and came home with two wins.

A&M won the first game of the doubleheader 14-0 and the second game 13-3.

The Central A&M Raiders suffered their first conference loss of the year on Tuesday night in an 11-4 decision to Tuscola. 

Dillon Reed took the loss for A&M going 2 1/3 innings and giving up seven hits, two walks and five earned runs.

The Pretzels got the one run win in game one, but the Raiders got revenge in the second game of the double-header on Saturday, winning that by one run. 

New Berlin beat Central A&M 4-3 in nine innings in game one, getting Parga the win.

Morgan Damery and Mo Hunter hit home runs on back to back pitches and combined for eight RBI’s as Central A&M won a slugfest against Pawnee on Monday night.

Olivia Jordan got the win on the mound and Lexee Smith earned the save for the Raiders.

The Central A&M Raiders got their baseball season started exactly how they wanted to.

A&M beat Heyworth 11-0 on Friday night led by an outstanding performance at the plate from Kohlby Ohl and A&M’s pitchers giving up just three hits.
