Lady Raiders win Macon County track meet Thursday
ASSUMPTION — The Central A&M Raiders were the host for the 2016 Macon County track meet, on Thursday, after two straight days of rainouts. The meet was held at Central A&M Middle School, in Assumption, with the Raiders, Warrensburg-Latham, Argenta-Oreana, Meridian, Maroa-Forsyth, Sangamon Valley, St. Teresa, and Cerro Gordo all competing.

MOWEAQUA — After four years of varsity basketball, including three state finals appearances and a state championship, Central A&M Lady Raiders standout point guard, Ryan Dooley, is heading to Champaign to become a member of the Parkland Cobras. “Parkland kept in contact with me throughout the season more than any other school, and after I went and visited there I felt like it was the best place for me to be to continue my education” said Ryan. “Getting to play basketball there is just a plus. The girls on the team were amazing and it felt like home.”
