FLW college fishing central conference Invitational set for Kentucky Lake
GILBERTSVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 3, 2014) – FLW College Fishing is headed to Kentucky Lake September 13-14 for the Central Conference Invitational tournament. Forty-five college teams have qualified for this event and will be competing for a top award of $4,000 and a berth in the 2015 College Fishing National Championship.

Over a year ago, Matt and Megan Scales opened the first gym of its kind in downtown Taylorville, bringing with them the hope to improve a community and change the quality of life for the people that walked through their doors. Starting off with only a Facebook page, a website and advertising through word of mouth, CrossFit Adversis has more than tripled their numbers and looks to continue to grow in the future.

SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) learned on June 18 that a second hearing has been scheduled for the IHSA with the Illinois General Assembly’s Elementary & Secondary Education Committee. The committee held its first hearing with the IHSA on May 20, 2014 at the Capitol Building in Springfield.
