Barry and Atteberry take seats on Taylorville School Board
CORRECTION:  It was incorrectly stated on the Breeze-Courier website on Tuesday evening that David Driskell was re-elected to the Taylorville School Board. While Driskell was the fourth highest vote earner, his seat was awarded to Atteberry, the second overall vote earner, because they both represent the same geographical area. While geographical representation was accurately conveyed in the election preview section of Sunday’s edition, it was incorrectly reported in yesterday evening’s website post that Atteberry and Andruch were representing the same geographical area. As a result of the direct competition between Atteberry and Driskell, Jim Andruch, the fifth highest vote earner, will retain his seat on the board. The four open seats were awarded to Bruce Barry, Steve Milling, Dennis Atteberry, and Jim Andruch.
