Margaret Lucille “Granny B” Badman, 87, of Taylorville, formerly of Palmer, IL, passed away at 7:25 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 28, 1925 in Taylorville, the daughter of Walter and Sarah (Odle) Stockon. She married George Leonard Badman on October 7, 1944 in Macon, IL. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2005. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Advent Christian Church in Palmer, IL. She loved playing Bingo and camping. She enjoyed and loved her grandkids, and also enjoyed visiting with her friends at Rolling Meadows, especially Ruth Stockon.
Surviving are her sons, Kenneth “Ray” (Dayle) Badman of Taylorville, James (Sue) Badman, and Billy (Anita) Badman, all of Palmer; daughters, Janet (Cayle) Davis of Palmer, Connie (Tony) Cook of Pana and Victoria (Tom) Grundy of Morrisonville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Stockon of Arizona; and sister, Virginia Dowdy of Palmer. She was preceded by her parents, husband, George “Leonard”; eight siblings, grandchild, Bill Ray Badman and great-grandchild, Darren Allen Durbin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. Funeral services will be Monday, December 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, with burial at Anderson Cemetery, Palmer. Rev. Dayle Badman will officiate.

Casket bearers were Jeff Grundy, Michael Badman, Josh Badman, Jed Davis, Kenny Badman, Jared Cook and Jeff Graham.
