August 10, 1921 - January 16, 2013

Justyne Lowe, 91, of Taylorville, formerly of Blue Mound, IL, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 4:55 p.m. at Taylorville Care Center in Taylorville.

She was born August 10, 1921 in Virginia, IL, the daughter of E.B. and Beulah Ivey Millner. She married Floyd Lowe on June 29, 1940 in Missouri; he later preceded her in death on September 8, 2005. Justyne was a retired homemaker. She loved to play cards, Bingo and other games with her friends at Park Glen. She also loved to crochet and enjoyed Sunday rides.  

She is survived by her son, Richard (Rita) Lowe of Taylorville; daughters, Jean (Bill) Cooper of Taylorville, Beverly (Darryll) Beaman of Taylorville and Diane (Brian) Smith of Mattoon, IL; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Dorothy (Everett) Ledbetter of Springfield, IL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville, with Pastor Philip Neumann officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rural Nokomis, IL.

Funeral services for Justyne Lowe, 91, of Taylorville, formerly of Blue Mound, IL, were held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, Rural Nokomis. Pastor Philip Neumann officiated the service.

Casket bearers Craig Cooper, Jeff Cooper, Ryan Cooper, Dustin Usinger, Chad Wooton and Brian Smith.

Honorary bearers were Kory Lowe and Marty Beaman.
