ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID The Board of Education for Rochester CUSD 3a will receive sealed bids at the office of the Superintendent, Mr. Bruce Hayes, #4 Rocket Drive, Rochester, Illinois 62563 for 1974 Addition Window Replacement Rochester High School & Jr. High 707 West Main Street Rochester, Illinois 62563 Bids shall be delivered in a sealed bid envelope to the Office of the Superintendent, Mr. Bruce Hayes, Rochester CUSD 3a, #4 Rocket Drive, Rochester, Illinois 62563, prior to 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, Thursday, May 16, 2019. Generally the work includes replacement of 26 existing window units and one pair of entry doors. (Removal of existing windows shall be done under a separate contract with the abatement contractor). Work to begin on or about August 15, 2019 and shall be completed before September 15, 2019. Bids shall include: Properly completed Proposal Form in duplicate. Bid Deposit in the amount of 10% of Bid. Not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor pursuant to Illinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 489, Sec. 39s-1 et. seq. Specifications and Drawings are available at the Office of the Architect, jh petty & associates, ltd. architects, 3220 executive park drive, springfield, illinois 62703, (217) 787-2844. A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site on Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. for all prospective bidders. All Bidders are advised that all work of this Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Prevailing wage rates have been determined and are on file at the Office of the State of Illinois Department of Labor, telephone (217) 782-6206. All Bidders shall submit and enclose with their bid a notarized certification that the Contractor is not barred from bidding on the Contract as a result of a violation of either Section 33 E-3 or 33 E-4 of Article 33E, Public Act 85-1295 (Senate Bill 2002) effective January 1, 1989. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of 10% of Bid, made payable to Rochester CUSD 3a. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond, certified check or casher's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of bid. Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U.S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. The Board of Education for Rochester CUSD 3a reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No. 2 To the Gas Patrons of Ameren Illinois Company d/b/a Ameren Illinois: Ameren Illinois (or Company) hereby gives notice to the public that on April 9, 2019, it filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC or Commission) evidence (direct testimony) regarding the reconciliation of revenues and costs under the Company's Purchased Gas Adjustment (PGA) Rider with costs incurred in connection with the cost of gas from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018. The evidence is applicable to Rate Zone I (formerly the AmerenCIPS service territory), Rate Zone II (formerly the AmerenCILCO service territory) and Rate Zone III (formerly the AmerenIP service territory); and may result in changes in its rates and charges with respect to gas delivery services throughout the Company's gas service territory in Illinois.
