ILLINOIS CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATON AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES NOTICE OF FUNDING OPPORTUNITY FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME ACT COURT- APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE PROGRAM GRANTS The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants supporting court-appointed special advocate programs for individuals who have experienced multi-victimization. Grants will be made with FFY19 Victims of Crime Act funds. Available funds: $2,535,000 in funding is available through this solicitation. Applicants may request a minimum of $75,000 and up to a maximum of $500,000 for use over a 12-month period. Matching funds: A 20% match requirement will be imposed on grant funds under this program. Match can be made in both cash and/or in-kind contributions. Eligibility: This solicitation is open to public agencies and nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to crime victims. Nonprofit organizations must submit proof of 501(c)(3) status as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
