Notice of sale OF PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF TOVEY AND INVITATION TO BID THEREON PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Tovey, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for the purchase, under the successful bid, of the fee simple interest, subject only to the requirement of removing the mobile home currently located on the following real property: Lots 1 and 2 in Block 7 in Rick's Amended Addition to Humphrey, an addition situated in the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 8, Township 13 North, Range 3 West of the Third Principal meridian, according to the Plat of said addition recorded November 27, 1918 in Plat Book 2 Page 16, in Christian County, Illinois. PIN: 15-12-08-419-008-00 which property is generally located at 425 Murray Hill Ave., Tovey, Illinois, and is currently a vacant lot except for a certain mobile home (Brown and Cream color, size approx. 25'X60') located on said property which has been deemed abandoned and must be removed by Successful Bidder as a condition of purchase. Bids for the purchase of the aforesaid interest in the above-described property are hereby invited and will be received by the Village Clerk. The Village Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The successful bidder shall be required to pay the sum of 20% of the purchase price within 24 hours of acceptance of the successful bid. Said sum shall not be refundable. The balance of the purchase price shall be due and owing on the date of closing, which shall be within 30 days of the date of execution of an agreement by and between the Village and the successful bidder. Successful bidder shall be responsible for all closing costs including but not limited to costs of deed preparation, filing fees, title search etc. Successfully Bidder shall also be required as to remove the abandoned mobile home from property no later than 90 days after the closing date.
