Camren M. Neisler, 18, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 1:13 p.m. as the result of an auto accident on Christian County road 1.5 miles south of Taylorville. He was on his way to classes at Lincoln Land College.
Camren, the son of Tim Neisler and Brandy Seifert Neisler Chausse, was born March 3, 2000 in Springfield, Ill. He is survived by his parents, step-father Brian Chausse, sister Haily Neisler, brother Colton Neisler, step-brother B J Chausse, grandparents Larry and Linda Seifert all of Nokomis, grandparents Gary Neisler of Hillsboro, Dorothy Neisler of Witt, Diana and Harold Meyers of Litchfield and great-grandmother Rowena Hill of Nokomis.
Camren just graduated from Nokomis High School and was attending Lincoln Land. In school he played on the 2012 state championship baseball team and in 2018 on the sectional team. He also played on the golf team and was a member of the N. Club, science club and the fine arts club. He loved hanging with friends, golf, playing X-Box and fishing.
Funeral mass was held Monday, October 29 at 10:30 in St. Louis Catholic Church with the Rev. Albert Allen V F officiating. Visitation was held Sunday evening from 4 to 7 in the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Nokomis.
