William E. Beach of Pitssfield, Illinois, formerly of Taylorville, has passed away at 11:50 p.m. on Monday night at Liberty Village Nursing Home in Pittsfield with his children at his side. He was born to late Norman E. Beach Sr. and Mary R. Sefried Beach on January 25, 1958. He went to Taylorville High School and he was an assistant manager to KFC in Taylorville, then became manager in Shelbyville KFC. Then he went to work as a plumber’s assistant in Jacksonville.h he went to work for Save-A-Lot in Pittsfield, Illinois, working at various areas of the store.
He is survived by his son Thomas M. (Mackenzie) Beach of Pittsfield; two daughters, Amanda (Joel) Hagoloch of Ashland, Ill., and Brittany (Cole) Bishop of Havana, Ill. He has seven grandchildren, and his mother Mary R. Beach of Taylorville; six brothers, Paul, Morman, Tom, Colorado Springs, Co., Dennis, Jacksonville, N.C., Stephen, and Danny; four sisters, Kathy, Mary Louise, Jennifer, and Linda; several cousins and several neices and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, nephew, and grandparents. He was cremated by Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield, Illinois.
He was a very good, dependable man with a good sense of humor and he was a very good cook.
His celebration of life is planned for December 8, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Crossing Pike County Church in Pittsfield, Illinois.
