Joanne (Durbin) Tinner, 79 was born on October 11, 1939 in Clarksdale, Ill. in Bear Creek Twp. She passed away on February 18, 2019 in Round Rock Texas. She loved quilting, sewing and reading. As a Mary Kay consultant she won many prizes and used the product faithfully. She then worked as a city police dispatcher for Nokomis and later in Texas. She ran the wheels off several cars while traveling. Illinois was her go-to place to see all her family here. Never afraid to take off wherever she took the notion to go. She was a great caregiver of many family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Ronald, Vere, Edward and Herb (Harless) and her sisters Dorothy (Crowder), Marie (Deck), Juanita (Johnson) Mary Catherine (Compton) and Linda Kay (Spracklen). She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cremation rights were accorded per her request and she will be brought back to Illinois for burial in the Thomas Anderson Cemetery in Palmer along side of her sisters and many other family members who are interred there.
