James O. Wyzard
August 7, 1927 - April 2, 2020

Mr. James O. Wyzard, 92 of Kincaid, passed from this life at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Staunton, Ill. on August 7, 1927 the son of Earl and Anna Wyzard.

He married Mary “Bobby” (Meacham) Wyzard in Kincaid in 1947 and she preceded him in death in 1989.

Mr. Wyzard honorably served in the US Army and was a WWII veteran.  He worked as a welder in the coal mines along with Fiat Allis and Cilco and retired in 1984. He was a member as well as a past Post Commander of the American Legion Edwin Corpin Post 905.  He was also a member of the Church of God in Kincaid.  He enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and loved to travel and dance the Polka along with being a huge St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears fan.

Surviving are his children: James E. (Ruthann) Wyzard of Kincaid, Ill., Vanessa (Larry) Gardner of Lakewood, Colo., and Eric (Mary) Wyzard of Cocoa Beach, Fla., his grandchildren: Erica (Shanon) German of Niantic Ill., Jennifer Richards of Taylorville, Ill., J.T. (Katie) Wyzard of Taylorville, Ill., Lance (Katherine) Gardner of Denver, Colo., Brittany (Josh) Huston of Greeley, Colo., Josh (Melissa) Wyzard of Huntley, Ill., and Daniel (Dana) Wyzard of Sycamore, Ill., and great-grandchildren: Jett, Elle, Tatum, Meacham, James, Josiah, Ella, Madison, Garrett, Aidan and Preston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a sister Ruth and grandson Spencer.

Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, Ill. on Saturday April 4, 2020 at 10 a.m.  Masterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services are assisting the family.
