Travis Donald Hunt, 39 of Taylorville, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 in his home. He was born on July 26, 1981 in Taylorville, the son of Dennis D. and Kathleen M. (Murray) Hunt. He loved to be outdoors, no matter if he was throwing bags or playing mud volleyball with his team the Cadillac Shirley’s. For many years he co hosted the Hunt Mud Volleyball Tournament. Travis was also artistic; he enjoyed painting and had a knack for turning junk into art. He had a love for music; not only listening, but also playing. He taught himself how to play the electric bass and enjoyed taking part in open-mic nights. Traveling was another passion of Travis’s. He spent time traveling all around the world including a backpacking trip through Europe.
