Patricia Jane (Eyman) Chopp, 73 of Taylorville, Ill., passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.
Patricia was born on July 31, 1947 in Omaha, Neb. to Warren and Mildred (Scheef) Eyman. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; Clarence and Lillian Eyman and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Patricia moved to Little Rock, Ark. from Flint, Mich. and then to Jacksonville, Ark. where she was General Manager of Dollar Tree before moving to Morrisonville, Ill.. She was employed at the Taylorville Walmart as a cashier from 2007 until retiring about eigh years ago. She enjoyed quilting, reading, and having lunch with dear friends Debbie Goodrich, Britney and Maxx, who called her Grandma Pat.
She is survived by three brothers: Duke (Robbye) Eyman and nephew, Dakota, of Warren, Ark.; Chad Eyman of Mabelvalle, Ark.; and Cory (Jimmie) Eyman and niece, Amber, of Cabot, Ark., two sisters: Lynette (Eyman) White and Lianne Scheaffer, several nieces of Washington, Ill. Also surviving are aunts: Lillian Kent of Taylorville, Ill., Mary (Butch) Harper of Assumption, Ill. She leaves behind several cousins she enjoyed family gatherings with.
Patricia made friends with many in her walk of life and one stands out, Jackie Fluty, of Flint, Mich. whom she worked with at a small pretzel shop in a mall. They continued to talk often over the phone.
Private family services will be at a later date with burial in Morrisonville Cemetery.
