Phillip "Red" Wiseman Sr., 83., of Milam, Texas died on December 12, 2020 at CHI Livingston Medical Center.
Red was born on November 24, 1937 in Peoria, Illinois. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and an amazing friend.
He had a deep passion for fishing and spent many hours of his retirement fishing on Toledo Bend Lake. Red worked for 37 years at Mueller Company in Decatur, Illinois and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Most of his adult life he and his family resided in Assumption, Illinois only having lived here in Milam for the last 21 years.
Red is survived by his wife of 61 years Elizabeth "Cubby" Maroon Wiseman and his children Regina (Rickie) Brown. Denise Dampher and Phillip Wiseman Jr. of Milam Texas, Mary Elizabeth Cox of Center, Texas and Carol (Butch) Rhodes of Irving, Illinois. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, TJ, Heath, Tony, Christie, Daniel, Tiffany, Samantha, Shawn, Jon Todd and Zach and 15 great grandchildren.
Red is also survived by sisters and brothers, Patty McWard, Kenny Carl Wiseman, Josie Rodden, Jim Wiseman, Dick Wiseman, Beulah Parr, Tim Wiseman, Tom Wiseman, and Dale Wiseman.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie and Neta Schubach, parents Kenny and Louise Wiseman, great grandson Jagger Cox, son-in-law Derrick Dampher, brothers Raymond Wiseman, John Wiseman and sister Cleta Painter and special Aunt Irene Loveland.
