Former Taylorville, Illinois resident Barbara K. Roth, maiden name Parks, entered into rest on January 23, 2021 in her home in Gold Canyon, Arizona.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born on September 11, 1945 to Donald R. Parks and Bernice Labreque.
She lived in Taylorville until 1978 when she moved to Colorado and in 1983 she met her husband Kenneth D. Roth. They were married September 2, 1983.
Barbara leaves behind her soulmate Ken, and also two sons, Rick and Ron Goveia, her daughter Stefanie Torrence, and her step sons Duane and Sean Roth. She is also leaving behind two siblings, Lawrence Parks and Janet Taylor, who loved her dearly. Barbara leaves eleven grandchildren as well.
Barbara worked at the St. Vincent memorial hospital in data entry as well as admissions for many years. She had an uncanny ability to make people laugh and was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved her family dearly. Barb had a love for life and was fortunate to have traveled to many countries. She shared her adventures with everyone. Barbara will be sorely missed. The family will continue to carry her beautiful smile everywhere.
