Taylorville's Colbrook headed to St. Ambrose
Rozella Colbrook signed her letter of intent to play soccer at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa on Monday afternoon. Colbrook became the fifth Tornado in the past two years to commit to St. Ambrose, but was the first women’s soccer player to do so.

Colbrook said she chose St. Ambrose over other schools due to the commute time there and back, but also because of their academics. “I hate spending time in the car, so it’s nice that it isn’t too far away, but also it feels like I am able to get away from home,” said Colbrook.

PGA Tour 2K21 by 2K a go-to golf game for sure when the courses close
Before we get started, just some transparency, I was provided a copy of PGA Tour 2K21 by 2K and am grateful for the opportunity to work with them.

The opinions and reviews of the game are of my own accord having played the game on an original PlayStation 4.

It has been quite a while since a new golf game got me as interested as PGA Tour 2K21; growing up with the Tiger Woods golf series of games, I was excited when EA came out with Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.

That was more than five years ago.

Tornado XC wraps up season at Sectional meet
It was the longest trip of the season for the Tornado cross country team on Saturday as they made the two-hour journey to Olney Central College to compete in the final race of their season. The Tornado girls, who qualified as a team for the first time in five years, and Chris Cherry and Evan Morgan fought in a tough field of runners.

The format was different than it had been all season to be able to stay in compliance with IDPH and IHSA guidelines for the number of runners in one race. The top runners and the individuals that qualified ran in the first race, the number-two and number-three runners ran in the second race, the number-four and number-five runners ran in the third race, and then the number-six and number-seven runners ran in the fourth race.

With the way the team qualified out of their Regional, that put senior Alerina Letniku racing by herself in the first race for the girls. “Alerina is our leader. She may not have been the top runner all season, but she has a unique leadership that really helped our team a lot this season,” said Taylorville head coach Steve Walters.
