Pana running clocks Oakwood in round 2 rout
A year ago, when the Pana Panther football team hosted the Oakwood Comets in a round-one matchup, Pana used a trio of unconventional scores to escape with the win after then quarterback Jack Armstrong found the end zone three times with his legs. PANA — If you want to listen to a factual, unbiased broadcast of the Pana Panthers versus the Fithian-Oakwood Comets football game this Saturday, don’t tune into Ramsey radio station WTRH, 93.3 on the FM dial. Factual, probably, most of the time; unbiassed, definitely not.

Pana falls to Fairfield in sectional semi-final
Walking into the gym on Monday night at Pana’s sectional contest, there was a distinct crowd advantage in favor of Fairfield. Red Bud's run-first style is familiar playoff sight for Panthers

Pana Panthers
Save for the energetic kid bounding up and down the sidelines after Pana football games, I didn’t know Evan Higgins. Just those fleeting glimpses, though, were enough to know that he was loved by everyone around him and that he brought love and happiness to his family.

As we move into a new season, it is with a heavy heart that Evan is no longer with us. I’ve struggled to watch the yearning heartache of my friend, Trevor Higgins as he struggles through what must be an unbearable hell. My thoughts, too, are with his wife, Jeri Ann, who I only know in passing.
