Although Vincent Pop had to step down as head coach for the Ponies due to his job giving him more responsibility, assistant coach James Peacock stepped up and took over for the season.
Although Peacock had been with the team for a number of years, this will be his first time acting as a head coach. “The school board was asking around for someone to step up and I have a younger kid who plays junior high basketball so I really didn’t want to at first. But, I’m glad that I said that I would step up and coach and I think we are going to have a good season,” said Peacock. Saturday, November 23, 2019
