Usually, time of possession is a stat that is used in football games, not basketball games due to the shot clock. But, in Illinois high school games, there is no shot clock, so teams are able to possess the ball for as long as the defense doesn’t stop them.
That helped the Nokomis Redskins on Thursday night against South Fork as they were able to hang on for the 50-46 victory in overtime. Friday, February 12, 2021
