At home for the first time this season, the South Fork Ponies took on their rival Pawnee. Lots of free-throws and heavy defensive pressure in the second half helped the Ponies come away with the 51-25 win on Tuesday night. Wednesday, December 4, 2019
Although Vincent Pop had to step down as head coach for the Ponies due to his job giving him more responsibility, assistant coach James Peacock stepped up and took over for the season.
Although Peacock had been with the team for a number of years, this will be his first time acting as a head coach. “The school board was asking around for someone to step up and I have a younger kid who plays junior high basketball so I really didn’t want to at first. But, I’m glad that I said that I would step up and coach and I think we are going to have a good season,” said Peacock. Saturday, November 23, 2019

Friday night belonged to the East Alton-Wood River Oilers as they slid into John B. Pacotti Field and totally dominated the South Fork Ponies in a 66-6 conference victory. Kincaid falls to 1-6 this season. Saturday, October 12, 2019
There was joy Friday night at John B. Pacotti Field in Kincaid as the Ponies won for the first time this season, a 38-21 homecoming victory over the Martinsville Bluestreaks. Kincaid was able to put a complete game together with the offense generating close to 400 yards while the defense was extremely stingy, stopping Martinsville when push came to shove. KINCAID - At halftime Friday night at Kincaid High School’s John B. Pacotti Field, it was a close game as the visiting Lewiston Indians held a 14-6 lead. But starting with their score with a minute-and-a-half left in the second quarter, Lewiston scored six unanswered touchdowns and a safety to blow the Ponies away, 51-6. Hayden Prince made his first varsity start on Friday night against the Dupo Tigers at John B.. Pacotti Field for the Kincaid Ponies. The 6-foot, 168-pound junior threw two touchdown passes and was 12-of-24 in passing for 204 yards. On defense, he made two interceptions and had a tackle and a tackle assist.
