South Fork seniors recognized before EAWR contest
Senior members of the Kincaid South Fork football team and cheerleading squad were honored in pre-game ceremonies preceding the football game on Friday night.

Oilers blast Ponies, 66-6
Friday night belonged to the East Alton-Wood River Oilers as they slid into John B. Pacotti Field and totally dominated the South Fork Ponies in a 66-6 conference victory. Kincaid falls to 1-6 this season.

Ponies get in win column with homecoming win
There was joy Friday night at John B. Pacotti Field in Kincaid as the Ponies won for the first time this season, a 38-21 homecoming victory over the Martinsville Bluestreaks. Kincaid was able to put a complete game together with the offense generating close to 400 yards while the defense was extremely stingy, stopping Martinsville when push came to shove.

Lewiston sinks South Fork Ponies, 51-6
KINCAID - At halftime Friday night at Kincaid High School’s John B. Pacotti Field, it was a close game as the visiting Lewiston Indians held a 14-6 lead. But starting with their score with a minute-and-a-half left in the second quarter, Lewiston scored six unanswered touchdowns and a safety to blow the Ponies away, 51-6. It was the fourth straight loss in as many games for Kincaid.

Prince debuts, South Fork falls to Dupo Tigers, 34-20
Hayden Prince made his first varsity start on Friday night against the Dupo Tigers at John B.. Pacotti Field for the Kincaid Ponies. The 6-foot, 168-pound junior threw two touchdown passes and was 12-of-24 in passing for 204 yards. On defense, he made two interceptions and had a tackle and a tackle assist.

MACON — The South Fork football team hit the road in week two to take on the Macon-Meridian Hawks Friday night. The Hawks were victorious 38-8.

South Fork Ponies have tough night with Clinton in opener
Opening night at John B. Pacotti Field for the Kincaid Ponies did not turn out the way the hometown fans wanted. The Clinton Maroons took the opening kick-off 75 yards for a score, then capitalized on a fumble by the Ponies on the ensuing kick-off for a second touchdown and went on from there to take a 50-14 win.
