The North Mac baseball team had 14 hits in their 17-1 win over Edinburg on Tuesday while the Wildcats had just two.

Wildcat softball falls in extras to Panthers
Edinburg and North Mac needed extra innings on Tuesday to decide a winner as North Mac scored five runs over the final three innings to tie the game before the Wildcats scored three runs in the ninth to lead 9-6. North Mac was able to score four runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk-off and win 10-6.

Rylie Burney was on the mound for the Wildcat home opener on Monday night. The freshman did the best that she could, but Petersburg PORTA was able to get their hands extended on a couple of pitches that went over the fence as they hit three homeruns en route to their 12-2 win.

The Lincolnwood Lancers traveled to Edinburg on Thursday night for their final regular season game of the year. It was a close game for a majority of the first quarter, as Edinburg took a 4-0 lead for the first half of the first quarter, but then Lincolnwood got hot from deep. The Lancers ended up winning 60-35.

BUFFALO — The Edinburg Wildcats were on the road as they traveled to face off against the Tri-City Tornadoes on Friday night. After playing a close first quarter, the Buffal Tornadoes were able to take a bigger lead in the second quarter. That then gave them the momentum to carry out through the rest of the game, as the Tornadoes won 67-40.

After the Friday and Saturday Mohawk Classic games were cancelled due to the weather, last Wednesday and last night were used to make up the games that were cancelled. Edinburg and Lincolnwood wrapped up their tournament on Wednesday night, as Edinburg fell to Vandalia 79-32 and Lincolnwood fell to Nokomis 57-37.
