Altamont's second quarter lifts them over A&M |
After winning their respective Regionals, Central A&M and Altamont met on A&M’s home floor for the Sectional semi-final game. A&M had a gym full of fans ready to cheer them on to a Sectional championship game, but Altamont outscored the Raiders 25-14 in the second quarter, which proved to be the difference maker in the end. Central A&M and Nokomis faced off on Wednesday night in the Regional semifinal hosted by Okaw Valley. The Raiders and Redskins played a close game in the first quarter, but the Raider defense didn’t allow Nokomis to get anything going in the next three quarters, helping them get the 58-28 victory and advance to the Regional final tonight.
