EFFINGHAM, Ill. — Actress Karen Knotts, the daughter of the legendary actor Don Knotts, presents Tied Up in Knotts on Sat., March 10that 7:00 p.m. at the Effingham Performance Center. Karen Knotts brings you a one-woman show about growing up and performing with her famous father, the man who played Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith Show.
The show is Karen's loving tribute to the man that raised her; complete with song, dance, character acting, and all the love and humor you could expect from the daughter of the celebrated actor.
It is a show about growing up in the celebrity-filled world of Mayberry and wanting to follow in her father's acting footsteps. Karen Knotts tells stories about her legendary dad and shares fond memories of visiting the set of Mayberry, seeing cast members like Ron Howard (Opie) and Frances Bavier (Aunt Bea) plus other appearances in over 22 other shows and films.
The show has been sharing its heartfelt laughs and gaining critical acclaim across America.
